Mar. 5th, 2012 01:24 pmWe finally decided on a place to have our wedding. It only took a few years to figure it out. :)
We're having it next May at the Somewhere in Time gazebo on Mackinac Island, a touristy-type island in Lake Huron. At least, that's our first choice. If we can't get that specific gazebo, we'll likely have it at one of the hotel gardens, since they're just as pretty. :)
Since that's been somewhat settled, I've been working even harder toward my fitness goals. I want to actually feel like a pretty bride instead of being so uncomfortable in my own skin. So, working harder it is!
I updated the tickers on my profile page today. I'm showing a little bit of progress, which has me feeling a bit more confident about it all. According to the Walk to Rivendell chart, my mileage puts me nearly to Farmer Maggot's fields; hopefully I'll reach them by tomorrow.
Only 400 more miles to go!
